{"id":867,"date":"2013-04-19T22:13:28","date_gmt":"2013-04-19T22:13:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.omniweb.com\/wordpress\/?p=867"},"modified":"2013-04-19T22:22:52","modified_gmt":"2013-04-19T22:22:52","slug":"rt-could-not-load-a-valid-user","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.omniweb.com\/wordpress\/?p=867","title":{"rendered":"RT could not load a valid user"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Was running into a brick wall trying to figure out why a new user could not create a new ticket on a <a href=\"http:\/\/bestpractical.com\/rt\/\" title=\"Request Tracker\">Request Tracker<\/a> installation;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>RT could not load a valid user, and RT&#8217;s configuration does not allow<br \/>\nfor the creation of a new user for this email (someguy@example.com).<\/p>\n<p>You might need to grant &#8216;Everyone&#8217; the right &#8216;CreateTicket&#8217; for the<br \/>\nqueue timecard.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Finally after much code-reading and test-account-creating, I searched users including &#8216;disabled users&#8217; and found there was an old defunct user that had this same email address but from whom permissions had been revoked.  Wow that was frustrating.
